Safer pedestrian crossing for Joondalup Drv - we'd like to see that, hey.

Recommendations will go to council soon, about:
  • traffic slowing measures between Tumbleweed & Viridian
  • better lanes and islanding to slow and filter off traffic
  • wider pedestrian refuges
  • lights at Tumbleweed
  • pedestrian warnings at the crossing near Parakeelya
  • lights at Mistletoe
  • a roundabout at Viridian

But first, they need your views, by Oct 28, to shape these recommendations even further.
You may have already sent your questionnaire in,but if you haven't, please do.

You can get all the background info, including the sketches of the proposed Viridian roundabout, and the questionnaire from here.

October 21, 730pm, there is a public meeting for all residents,
at the Banksia Grove Centre.

Information & Community Feedback on what is being proposed for safer pedestrian crossing of Joondalup Drive.

A questionnaire will be available for you to give your responses to the proposals, and suggestions.

These responses will then form part of the Feasibility Study itself, and help shape the recommendations that are then given to Council.

Or you can click here to read the reports
and download the Questionnaire immediately.
